Industrial Process Controls Ltd. was formed in 1981, initially working in process control engineering, energy measurement and energy demand control of industrial and commercial buildings. Following a change in management in 1989, IPC has established itself as an internationally recognized supplier of high quality materials testing systems intended primarily for applications in the research and quality control/quality assurance areas of road pavement construction, civil engineering and manufacturing industry.

In June 2002, we changed our trading name to IPC Global.

IPC products are designed to address specific materials testing requirements of researchers and contractors in the asphalt and unbound pavement industry. Our design team works co-operatively with major world-renowned research facilities in the United States and Europe to ensure that our products remain relevant to current requirements and keep pace with future advances in road paving technology. Particular emphasis is placed on provision of reliable, easy-to-use equipment at prices which are acceptable to the industry.

Our products include:

  • UTM Series of Universal Testing Machines

  • Servopac Gyratory Compactor. Exceeds the requirements for SHRP Superpave.

  • Gyropac Gyratory Compactor. (AS 2891.2.2).

  • Beam Fatigue Apparatus for 4-point repetitive flexural bending tests, including SHRP M009.

  • IPC Global also supplies a comprehensive range of environmental chambers, triaxial cells, testing jigs and kits, load cells, transducers and signal conditioners designed to integrate with our product range.

  • IPC Global is the Australian and New Zealand representative for the Barnstead-Thermolyne NCAT Binder Ignition Furnace. The NCAT furnace is the ideal means of accurately determining bitumen content without using messy and hazardous chlorinated solvents.

  • IPC Global has recently been appointed exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand for the Keros (Denmark) PRIMA 100 Mini Falling Weight Deflectometer. The Prima 100 is extremely portable and has the unique advantage of using a Pocket PC as a user interface.

  • IPC Global also builds the UTM-Series of high capacity dynamic hydraulic testing machines (300 kN to 2000 kN capacity). These machines are built to special order and are available with a selection of grips and transducers to suit a diverse range of applications for materials research, construction and manufacturing industry.
