IPC Global has increased the functionality of the AMPT with the addition of an optional hardware kit which would enable uniaxial fatigue tests to be conducted on asphalt cylinders.
The AMPT Uniaxial Fatigue Kit allows the AMPT to perform tension tests, including the Simplified Continuum Damage Uniaxial Fatigue (SCDUF) test and Dr. Richard Kim’s Simplified Viscoelastic Continuum Damage (S-VECD) test.

Production of the SPT is now being accelerated with over 60 units supplied so far worldwide. IPC Global's AMPT is truly the most reliable and dependable machine available.
Owners of existing UTM-25 and UTM-100 machines can now also perform the SPT tests with additional components and software available from IPC.

The most important part of any test is the quality and representability of the specimen. Designed in collaboration with Pioneer Road Services the PReSbox allows rapid and repeatable production of asphalt prisms in the laboratory, with minimal operator involvement. Asphalt prisms prepared in the PReSBOX compactor may then be cored or sawn to produce cylindrical or prismatic specimens suitable for testing in the IPC AMPT Asphalt Mixture Performance Tester ( SPT Simple Performance Tester) or a Four Point Bending Apparatus. Servo-Pneumatic Four Point Bending Apparatus |
The new Servo pneumatic Four Point Bending Apparatus for testing asphalt beams provides enhanced functionality and ease of use. It comprises a beam cradle, an optional environmental chamber, IMACS (Integrated Multi-Axis Control System) data acquisition and control system and Windows application software.
Software has been developed to automatically perform the various standards including: EN12697-24 Annex D*, EN12697-26 Annex B*, prEN13108-20 Annex D*, AASHTO T321, AST 03. * At frequencies up to 20Hz. The latest Windows-based software allows for both controlled strain and controlled stress loading.

The new Servo hydraulic Four Point Bending Apparatus is a compact all-in-one testing machine for testing asphalt beams. It comprises an electrically powered hydraulic loading system, a beam cradle, an environmental chamber, IMACS (Integrated Multi-Axis Control System) data acquisition and control system and Windows application software.
Complies with the following standards: EN12697-24 Annex D, EN12697-26 Annex B, prEN13108-20 Annex D, AASHTO T321, AST 03. The latest Windows-based software allows for both controlled strain and controlled stress loading.
