PReSBOX Shearbox Asphalt Prism Laboratory Compactor

The most important part of any test is the quality and representability of the specimen. Designed in collaboration with Pioneer Road Services the PReSbox allows rapid and repeatable production of asphalt prisms in the laboratory, with minimal operator involvement. Asphalt prisms prepared in the PReSBOX compactor may then be cored or sawn to produce cylindrical or prismatic specimens suitable for testing in the IPC AMPT Asphalt Mixture Performance Tester ( SPT Simple Performance Tester) or a Four Point Bending Apparatus.
