AMPT Uniaxial Fatigue Kit

IPC Global has increased the functionality of the AMPT with the addition of an optional hardware kit which would enable uniaxial fatigue tests to be conducted on asphalt cylinders.

The AMPT Uniaxial Fatigue Kit allows the AMPT to perform tension tests, including the Simplified Continuum Damage Uniaxial Fatigue (SCDUF) test and Dr. Richard Kim’s Simplified Viscoelastic Continuum Damage (S-VECD) test.

The kit comprises top and bottom tension platens and additional hardware to allow tension platens to be mounted inside the AMPT. The optional Tension Platen Gluing Jig ensures fast and accurate alignment of the platens to ensure the most accurate results.
