UMT 100 Environmental Chamber PDF IPC Global offers a range of environmental chambers to suit their universal testing machines (UTMs), allowing the user to analyse the performance of materials at non-ambient temperatures. IPC chambers can also be adapted to fit other twin column materials testing machines. IPC chambers use a high quality mechanical refrigeration system to enable the user to analyse materials’ properties at real-life working temperatures (between -40˚C and +100°C*.) for extended periods. The excellent temperature homogeneity and gradients achieved with the internal fan and baffles to control air circulation, gives greater confidence in your test results. High accuracy and total control over temperature ramps and dwells is achieved using the optional Programmable Digital Controller thus enabling the user to easily perform complex tests e.g. Thermal Stress Restrained Specimen Test (TSRST). The chambers are constructed of high quality stainless steel thus ensuring superior performance and appearance for years to come.
