Universal Cyclic Tri-axial System

The IPC Dynamic Triaxial System comprises; 2 column Load Frame, PC controlled with 20 bit IMACS & 13 channels, 10kN actuator with 50mm stroke and air receiver. The system has closed loop control of axial load, cell pressure and back pressure.

The system performs Saturation, Isotropic and Anisotropic Consolidation, UU CD CU triaxial tests with Pore Pressure and Volume Change measurements, Stress Path, Strain Path control tests, K0 consolidation, Cyclic Loading, Dynamic Shear strength and deformation, Resilient Modulus, Liquefaction Potential, Shear Modulus, Damping Ratio.

The axial loading servo valve capability is 70 Hz. Up to 20 Hz can be reached depending on soil conditions. +/- 10kN cyclic load capacity with readings displayed to 0.1 N.
